The State of Jammu and Kashmir consists of Regions of Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh. Zanskar is a subregion of Ladakh. it is currently the most diverse state in India. Eastern part of Ladakh is more dominated by Buddhism and more akin to Tibet. Srinagar is the capital of J and K. Leh is the seat of Ladkah Autonomous Hill development council.
