The best time to travel to India depends greatly on the places to be visited, and the weather patterns experienced there.
In general, the cooler dry months from October to March are the most popular time to visit India. However, mountains and hill stations are best visited during summer, from March to May.

There are all major transport facilities in India, you can travel by public transports like trains and buses which is quite cheap but the travels are long, uncomfortable and sometime dangerous also, or you can rent a private vehicle with a driver which is the best option to travel in India, the price depends on number of travellers and the car chosen to travel.
