This trek is very wonderful and easy trek for all trekkers in which one crosses the meadow of flowers, pine forest, oak and Rhododendrons, which starts over the Hampta pass 4200 mtrs to arid and dry Chandra valley.

The Trek follows the rough path in Chandra valley alongside Chandra river in the middle of the significant mountains to the renowned Lake of Chandra tal situated in Lahoul valley looking at great mountain range called Chandra Bhaga. The lake with its deep blue water sparkling waters in which reflection of mountains is worth catching photo. In Summers one can easily find the shepherds who bring their cattle here to graze. Kunzum pass is the end point of this trek, where, a temple is located which is devoted to the Goddess Kunzum,

Day 01 – Arrival in Manali (2000 m)

Arrive in Kullu airport/Manali bus stand, and hotel check in and rest of time at leisure, After lunch visit of Hadimba devi Temple, Buddhist Monastery and evening at Mall road – Night in Manali.

Day 02: Acclimatization for the day

Trek to Solang valley to acclimatize to get accustomed with the trekking gear and equipments, afternoon back to manali, and evening at leisure. – night in Manali.

Day 03: Manali to Marsu, Saten (2500 m.) 5 hours.

After breakfast by car driver upto prini, and then start of trek ascending to the Saten village which gives an excellent view of the Kullu valley and slowly we come across the Khangpa village. There are tiny tea houses, where we can enjoy steaming tea. – Night at camp

Day 04: Marsu, Saten to Balu Gyra (3300 m.) 5 hours.

Today, the trek starts through the forest of Mapple, Silver Fir, Pine and Oak, and we have glimpses of the wild forests and flowers across the path. By crossing the river, we come to our camping place – night in Camp.

Day 05: Balu Gyra to Shea Gahru (3700 m.) over Hamta pass (4200 m.) 5 to 6 hours.

This day is going to be strenous, as we ascend the mighty Hamta pass, and we have view of distant Lahoul/ Spiti valley and mighty himalayan peaks. – Night at Campside

Day 06: Shea Gahru to Chhatru (3360 m.)

The trek today, descends in the direction of the Chandra river, and crossing the river, we reach our campsite.

Day 07: Chhatru to Chhota Dara (3440 m.)

Today stroll down the dusty and rough road lying opposite of the Chandra river between chandrabhaga range and Chhota Shigri Range.

Day 08 : Chhota Dara to Batal (3640 m.)

Today we have easy trek opposite of the Chandra river . The Bara shigri range offers a magnificent view of the Himalayan peaks and world’s longest glacier.

Day 09: Batal to Chandra Tal (4200 m.)

This day is going to be the most beautiful trek, and we will have a fantastic view of the Chandra valley and mountain peaks in chandrabhaga range.

Day 10: Chandra tal to Manali over Kunzum pass 4700 mtrs-Rohtang pass-3950 mtrs.

This day, we will slowly trek upwards the Kunzum pass, and after reaching the pass, we will visit temple of Godess kunzum, and we will drive, towards Manali over Rohtangpass – The snow giant between Lahoul and Kullu or the “valley of the Gods”.

Day 11: Departure

After breakfast, departure as per schedule to Kullu/Manali bus stand.
